TDi Technologies today announced that on September 4, 2012, it was granted a new patent by the United States Patent and Trademark Office: U.S. Patent # 8,260,751, LOG FILE TIME SEQUENCE STAMPING. This technology patent helps IT systems administrators monitor and manage IT enterprises consisting of a large number of systems for failures, security breaches, and network utilization. These systems can generate a large amount of data that is stored in disparate log files. TDi has invented technology that correlates log data from many types of systems to its centralized monitoring environment, ConsoleWorks, to facilitate a fast and effective method for reconstructing and remediating a failure.
“This patent further increases the value and importance of TDi Technologies’ patent portfolio as it pertains to IT infrastructure management and monitoring,” said Bill Johnson, TDi Technologies founder, and president. “In today’s IT enterprise software market, patent portfolios are recognized as necessary assets and we believe TDi’s patent portfolio is not only necessary but vital to the market.”
The company’s complete patent portfolio provides automation, optimization, control and management capabilities that dramatically improve the ability of IT to meet the demands of the business.
